Cassandra De Baere

Cassandra obtained her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ghent, Belgium.
 

After this she engaged in several other courses such as a 2 year postgraduate in psycho-analysis at the University of Ghent, followed by a 3 years training in substance abuse counselling. An additional 3 years education in psychotherapy at the Interaction Academy of Antwerp allowed her to become a Systemic Psychotherapist.

Lately she also tasted from the life-coaching course offered by the CTI-Institute in Dubai
 

Prior to coming to Dubai, Cassandra has been counselling for 10 years in Belgium.
Partly she worked in a clinic that specialized in substance abuse. The other half of her time she spent in her own practice dealing with a large variety of symptoms such as, without being exhaustive, depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, grieve etc.

At that time she was also training other specialists in "motivational interviewing" based on the model of Proschaska and Di Clementi.

Cassandra ′ s focus is treating adolescents and adults with various psychiatric/psychological problems.


She has a special interest in Individual Therapy but does not exclude Marital Therapy and Family Counselling.
